Budget

 I am concerned with what residents pay in taxes however, I am more concerned that we are getting a good return on the taxes we are currently paying.  Currently the tax budget is +/- $27,000,000...yes $27 million.  My promise to you as Commissioner, is to look at the details in the budget and see where we can make improvements in the allocation of our tax dollars.  With our annual budget being $27,000,000, we are no longer a little township with only a 3 to 4 million annual budget.  Our budget consists of both revenue and expenses, I promise to complete a thorough review of both of these items.  

• Revenue:  Where is our revenue coming from?  I will review the checks and balances to assure that everyone is making the necessary payments.
• Expenses:  A thorough review with all department heads will be conducted to determine what improvements are necessary to maintain our infrastructure, and services to our residents.
• Grants:  Whitehall received $1,700,000 in grant monies, mainly consisting of Federal Covid Funding.  I will make sure that Whitehall receives our fair share of both Federal and State grants.
